CALIFORNIA — The Sacramento County Office of Emergency Services is ‘strongly advising’ the residents of Tyler Island to evacuate. Tyler Island is expected to flood due to a compromised levee.
At least 400 hundred people are affected.
The Office is advising residents to the east section of Walnut Grove to take precautionary actions for possible flooding there.
A flash flood warning is in effect until 11:30 a.m. local time.
Officials say this incident is not related to the Oroville dam event.
