FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — (Video below) — At least three children were injured, one seriously after a bounce-house was thrown into the air by a water-spout.
It happened on Memorial Day near the Bahia Mar hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Brandon Burchett posted on his Facebook page cellphone video of the waterspout lifting the bounce house into the air. It shows the bounce house being carried several feet.
A water-spout is a rotating column of water and spray formed by a whirlwind occurring over the sea or other body of water.
