WASHINGTON — EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland, Washington was placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
Hospital officials say ‘an individual of concern’ was captured on a security camera with what appeared to be a rifle. The item was later confirmed to be an umbrella and the lockdown was lifted.
Again, the lockdown at EvergreenHealth Kirkland has been lifted.

The suspect is a male, late 40s, wearing a grey knit cap, black glasses, black jacket and an orange pack over his shoulder.
Evergreen Health released the following statements: EvergreenHealth Kirkland is on lockdown to protect employees, patients & others in the hospital.
We’ll continue to update on the situation & ask that you remain outside of the hospital.
We’re asking the media to help communicate our lockdown state & help to provide updates.
Due to a security event, EvergreenHealth Kirkland is currently on lockdown to protect patients, employees and others in the hospital. Patients, employees and visitors are sheltering in place for their safety.
To help keep our community safe, we are asking that all visitors avoid the area and remain outside of the hospital.
Police are on scene investigating—no injuries were reported.
