50 Legion Street and Pitkin Ave. On Thursday, October 10, 2013 at approximately 10:03AM, police responded to 911 call for and unconscious female and infant. Upon arrival officers observed a female black 34 years old and a male black 11 days old unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the location, the female was pronounced DOA at the scene and the infant was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
