A family from Lake Worth returned from a trip to the beach to find chicken bones, empty beer bottles and personal items scattered across their kitchen floor, as well an unknown male asleep on their couch.
The male, known as Jacob Miller, was woken up by Palm Beach deputies and placed under arrest. When Miller was removed from the home, they found numerous items of the families jewelry on the man that belonged to the family, they also found half-eaten food all over the kitchen floor.
Miller had told the deputies he went in the families home because he needed somewhere to stay, but he refused to answer any other questions.
He remains in the Palm Beach County Jail without bail, facing charges of burglary and theft, it was also discovered he has a warrant in Texas for burglary.
