ENGLAND — London’s Metropolitan Police Service has released new surveillance images of the Manchester arena attacker prior to the blast.
The photo shows Salman Ramadan Abedi, a 22-year-old British Muslim, wearing a vest and backpack, believed to have contained the bomb.
Officials also said they suspect the bomb was constructed inside of a city apartment.
23 adults and children, including Abedi, were killed and 116 were injured, some critically, in the attack claimed by ISIS.
Abedi was suspected of working within a terrorist network, and 13 people were arrested in connection with the incident, two of whom were released without charge.
