NEVADA — On Saturday, Las Vegas Police responded to a report of a battery that occurred inside of a hotel suite at the Palms Casino Resort located at 4321 West Flamingo Road. Patrol officers responded to the hotel where they made contact with an adult female who appeared to have minor injuries sustained as a result of a battery. The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Enterprise Area Command Investigations Detail indicated the victim was attending a party inside of a hotel room located at the Palms Casino Resort.

An altercation took place in the room over a cell phone when the victim went to take a picture of 26 year-old recording artist Chris Brown. The victim was alleged to have been battered by Brown, who at the same time took her cell phone.

A verbal altercation took place as the victim was escorted out of the room by private security and into the hallway. The victim was escorted off property by hotel security due to the disturbance in the hallway. A short time later the victim returned to the hotel where she reported the incident to hotel security. Detectives attempted to contact Mr. Brown in the hotel room, however they were not permitted entry, and it was later determined that he already left the location prior to officers’ arrival.

The alleged victim has been identified as Liziane Gutierrez, a Brazilian model and known groupie.
