WATCH: CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Says Brexit Means ‘Xenophobia’ Won

WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour said Xenophobia played a key role in influencing the outcome of the United Kingdom’s vote to leave the EU.

Amanpour repeatedly claimed that the win is an example of ‘white identity and xenophobia’.

Before the result was declared, Amanpour told Anderson Cooper; “A lot of the Leave movements are led by the hard-right, very, very xenophobic, anti-immigrant, very populist, nationalist, white identity politics.”

Christiane Amanpour is is a British-Iranian journalist and television host.

Amanpour is the Chief International Correspondent for CNN and host of CNN International’s nightly interview program Amanpour.
