The U.S. Coast Guard is currently searching around 25 miles off the North Carolina shore after reports came in of a collision between two military planes.
A helicopter has since been dispatched from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City.
The incident involved two F/a-18 jets.
All four pilots have been recovered.
Officials did not release any information about the condition of the pilots involved in the collision.
The report was initially reported at around 10:30 a.m.
