WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) A commercial that was created to fight sexism was apparently also sexist and its makers decided to pull it from TV channels.

The commercial to promote the fact the company employed a lot of women was deemed sexist because it showed a house in disarray.

People felt they were inferring a home would crumble if women weren’t there to take care of the chores.

If that wasn’t enough, the French pop song ‘Where are the women?’ started up at the end, with a response to that question flashing up on the screen: ‘On France 3 presenting’.

Pascale Boistard, the woman’s minister in France wasn’t happy with it and tweeted the ad wasn’t ‘a good way to highlight professional equality’.

The station has since decided not to air the ad in France, although it’s still up on its Twitter account.
