Conn. State Troopers: Suspect Tried to Eat DWI Results

Kenneth Desormes, 40, of Greenwich, Conn., was stopped for speeding about 5:30 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 95 in Westchester County, State Police said.

Troopers determined Desormes was intoxicated and took him to the Tarrytown barracks, where his blood-alcohol content registered 0.13 percent. When the results were printing, Desormes grabbed the paperwork and attempted to eat it, police said. He was charged with misdemeanor DWI, obstructing governmental administration and criminal tampering. TIMES UNIONn
