Couple Charged After Putting Seven Year Old Son In Boiling Water

WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) A father and step mother from Maryland have been charged with child abuse after restraining their seven-year-old son with zip ties and burning him with boiling water.

Craig Anthony Williams, aged 42, and Nicole Williams, aged 39, were arrested after they visited Shady Grove Hospital with their son, officials noted he was brought in after a seizure, multiple abrasions, bruises over his head and blisters.

He was airlifted to a children’s national medical center for further evaluation and treatment.

The boy told doctors that his parents bound him to his bed for all of the day.

His father and stepmother admitted that they restrained him.

A nurse then asked the boy what caused the blisters, the boy said his hands and feet were put in boiling water.

The couple were then arrested and charged with first-degree child abuse.

Their bonds have been lowered to $10,000 each.

The couple have now been released.

Officials have not commented whether the parents are allowed to be around their other children.

Neighbors have reported to local media that they have not seen the couple at their home in many weeks.
