ANCHORAGE, ALASKA — On 04/22/2017 at about 0648 hours, Anchorage Police responded to a disturbance where shots were fired at the Carrs Aurora Village, located at 1650 W. Northern Lights. A group of unruly teenagers were fighting inside the store; breaking merchandise and even one urinating in the aisles.
When a store employee confronted the group of teenagers to leave, one of the teenagers produced a handgun and shot at the Carrs Safeway employee. The employee was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
APD is conducting a pending investigation. APD is asking anyone who was involved or witnessed the event to call APD at 786-8900.
