MIAMI, FLORIDA — MLB Free Agent Delmon Young was reportedly arrested Sunday night after police say he choked and threatened to kill a valet attendant.
Young, who was allegedly using ethnic slurs, grabbed the victim by the throat after not being allowed in a nightclub.
When police arrived to contact the suspect, he answered the door naked from the waist down. According to mansports.com, the baseballer became irritated and told an officer, “I’ll slap you in the face with money, you **** Cuban.”
From ABC News: “The attendant told police he had refused to let Young on an elevator to a club at the Viceroy Miami, because the club was closed. The report says Young left the area for a short time but then returned and attacked the attendant again.”
He was taken into custody and charged with a count of battery. He bonded out early Monday, CBS Baltimore reported.
