SUNOL, California — Officials were looking for an aircraft that went missing in Alameda County on Tuesday.
The single-engine plane has possibly crashed.
According to NBC Bay Area, air traffic controllers lost radar and radio contact with a Piper PA-32 about 12 miles east of Oakland International Airport around 11:30 a.m.
Officials have not confirmed that the plane is down.
Just two days ago, a family of five was killed in a plane crash in Bakersfield.
