First Responders were on the scene of a Secret Service-involved shooting in Northwest Washington, D.C. Tuesday.
According to FOX5, the Secret Service ‘requested an EMS unit to respond to the 1100 block of L Street […] for a person shot in the thigh.’
The agency later said the officer accidentally shot himself—the injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation is underway.
