The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Gregory Anderson, a 32-year-old black male, for sexually assaulting a female in Manhattan.
Police revealed to Breaking911 that on February 6, 2016 at 5:00AM, the victim, a 36 year-old female, was walking along East 94 Street when she was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground after she crossed 2nd Avenue.
The suspect then forced the victim to walk further down the block where he removed $40 and sexually assaulted her. The victim fled from the location and ran to a nearby store where the suspect was unable to find her.
Subsequent to a Crime Stoppers tip, the suspect has been identified Gregory Anderson.
The photo attached is from a 2014 arrest for drinking in public within the confines of the 23 Precinct.
The suspect is described as 5’7″.
