NEW YORK — (Scroll Down For Video) — The Donald went on CNN to defend his recent comments about Mexican Immigrants.
Trump is under fire for comments made during a speech saying: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best… They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
In a new interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, Trump says, “Somebody’s doing the raping, Don.”
LEMON: I read [the stats], that’s about women being raped. It’s not about criminals coming across the border entering the country.
TRUMP: Somebody’s doing the raping, Don. I mean, you know, somebody’s doing it. You say it’s women being raped. Well, who’s doing the raping? Well, how can you say such a thing?
