Video footage that has been released shows the moment an ISIS car bomb was blown up as it headed toward the Iraqi town of Mosul.
The jihadists were moments away from attempting an assault when the PMU militia blew up the armoured car.
The video uploader wrote: ‘ISIS was trying to attack our positions but was defeated heavily.’
The PMU, or Al-Hashd Al-Sha’abi, is a paramilitary group created in 2014 to combat the rise of ISIS.
