CALABASAS, California — A 70-year-old woman has been arrested after a 22 hour standoff with Officers. The woman fired a weapon at a police robot during the incident. Officials say no one was injured.

Deputies went to the 4200 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, just north of Calabasas on a “medical assistance” call, according to the sheriff’s department.

The woman pulled a gun and fled into one of the mobile homes before they could contact her, according to Fox11.

Law enforcement personnel set up containment in the mobile home park and worked for hours to convince the woman to surrender.

Authorities tried tear gas and a crisis-negotiation robot. Officials say the woman fired a gun at the robot, hit it with a broom and threw a cover over it.

The 70-year-old suspect was finally taken into custody around 3 a.m. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Charges against the woman were not made public.
