An elevator repair worker has died after he fell over 50 stories down an elevator shaft.
The man was working on the roof of a high-rise building in New Jersey.
While working on the building on Boulevard E in Guttenberg, he fell down the shaft at around 7:30am on Tuesday.
He was discovered wedged between an elevator cab and the wall of the shaft near the eight floor.
Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
His body has since been removed by emergency services.
