New York City police say a suspect who brazenly swiped a cellphone from a subway rider added image to injury: He used the stolen phone to snap a selfie.

That photo is now in investigators’ hands, and police said Saturday they’re looking for the selfie suspect.

They got the photo from the victim’s Google account. Some phone users set up their devices to back up photos automatically to their Google photo libraries.

The 36-year-old victim was texting on his Galaxy S3 phone while riding a Q train around 5:45 a.m. Oct. 24.

Police say as the train pulled into the Beverly Road station in the Prospect Park South section of Brooklyn, the thief grabbed the phone from the owner’s hand and then ran off when the doors opened.
