A Phoenix woman, who was reported missing on Saturday, July 25, has been found dead officials say.
Monica Alvarez, 21, was last seen by her parents who told Telemundo Arizona she wanted to “clear her mind.” Within hours, Alvarez no longer answered her phone.
Police say Alvarez was found dead on Monday in the area of 1800 West Lincoln Street. Few details were released but Phoenix police said, “There is no indication of foul play at this time.”
Officials did not say if her black Chrysler 300 with number plate BMY3646 was recovered.
The disappearance of Alvarez was not covered extensively by local media. Although, friends and family took to social media in hopes of her safe return.
Please help find my friend Monica Alvarez. She was last seen Saturday night around the Maryvale area and wearing a yellow spaghetti strap and short. Please contact me or Carmen her sister for any information! pic.twitter.com/LimWS3s0Np
