FBI Doubles Reward For Information In Tabitha Tuders Case

NASHVILLE, TENN — The FBI today announced that it is doubling the reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons criminally involved in the April 29, 2003 disappearance of Tabitha Tuders.

The FBI is now offering up to $50,000, in increase from the $25,000 first offered on this day in 2010, for information leading to the recovery of Tabitha and the prosecution of those involved in her disappearance.

Tabitha, who was age 13, is believed to have left her 1312 Lillian Street home sometime after 7:30 a.m. to catch a school bus at the nearby intersection of 14th & Boscobel Streets. She did not board the bus that day and did not attend school.

Metro Police & the FBI have jointly investigated literally hundreds of leads over the past 13 years. The investigation remains active and is currently being led by Detective Steve Jolley of the MNPD’s Homicide-Cold Case Unit.

A majority of the leads investigated over the years have come from citizen tips.
