FBI searching for female bank robber

ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, special agent in charge (SAC), FBI Atlanta Field Office, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for a recent bank robbery as well as a bank robbery attempt.

On Monday, October 30, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a lone black female attempted to rob the Wells Fargo bank, located at 6063 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, Georgia. The robber displayed to the victim teller a “demand” note that was on her cell phone. When the robber was denied the money, she left the bank without further incident.

On the same date, Monday, October 30, 2017, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the same individual entered the Associated Credit Union, located at 5032 Old Grant Road, Ellenwood, Georgia, and again demanded money via demand note. This time the robber was provided an undisclosed amount of money. The robber then departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black female, late 20’s to mid 30’s in age, approximately 5’7” in height, slender build, long black hair, wearing a black coat, black wool cap, black sunglasses, black gloves, black boots, and a dark colored messenger bag.
