A Fort Walton Beach man who said he wanted to kill the baby of a pregnant woman punched her repeatedly in the stomach in the front yard of a Navy Street home.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged 22-year old Tyree Dante Jones of 13 Poulton Drive with aggravated battery on a victim known to be pregnant.
The victim says Jones is the father of the baby. She said Jones came by 665 Navy Street on March 19th and waited on the front porch until she came outside. Once on the front porch she says Jones pulled her in the front yard and began striking her in the stomach. A witness said she saw Jones hit the woman at least four times, say he wanted to kill the baby, and threatened to shoot up her house and her mother’s house.
Jones fled the scene before deputies arrived.
He was arrested March 22nd on the outstanding warrant.
