A 59 year old man from Florida now faces murder charges after County Sheriff deputies report that he beat his elderly mother to death.
Neighbors of the woman found Carolyn Martin’s body at her Florida home on Tuesday and notified law enforcement. It was originally thought that Carolyn Martin had died as a result of a fall, however the Pasco County medical examiner ruled her death was a homicide.
Bruce Cardon Marin lived with his mother at their Florida homes day the Sheriff’s office. Deputies now report that Bruce Martin is now accused of striking her and killing her.
Carolyn, 91, was found badly bruised and displayed multiple contusions. She was also found with multiple broken fingers as well as a severely dislocated shoulder.
Deputies served a warrant for Bruce Martin, charging Martin with second-degree murder.
