4 Wounded In Machete Attack at Long Island State Park

NEW YORK — Four teens were reportedly wounded during a stabbing attack at a Long Island Park Monday afternoon.

The incident happened at Hempstead Lake State Park around 2:30 p.m. local time, WNBC reported, citing sources. The weapons included a knife and machete.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The extent of the other three injuries were not known.

No arrests had been made at the time of this posting.

Hempstead Lake State Park is a 737-acre state park located in Nassau County, New York.
