At least five municipal police departments, the Bucks County Detectives, Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI are involved in the search for four young men who all went missing last week, District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub said at a news briefing this morning.

“As is often the case in an investigation of this magnitude, it is all hands on deck,” Weintraub said. Investigators are searching multiple locations for clues to the whereabouts of the men, one of whom went missing last Wednesday and the others on Friday, he said.

“At this point, I would ask for your patience and your prayers for these four young men,” Weintraub told reporters in Solebury Township, calling the investigation “very serious and very sensitive.”

Missing since Wednesday is Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township. Missing since Friday are Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County; Dean Finocchiaro, 18, of Middletown Township, and Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township.

Although there are indications that some or all of the men knew one another, investigators are working to confirm that information and the extent of any connections, Weintraub said.

Likewise, while there is no proof that any of the men have been harmed, “we are treating this

as a criminal investigation until we know differently,” the district attorney said.

Weintraub addressed the media not far from the location of one search, a multi-acre property along Route 202 near Aquetong Road in Solebury. “Obviously it has investigative relevance,” he said of the property.

WTXF reported: Pennsylvania State Police conducted a search at a seemingly abandoned home along Aquetong Road in Solebury Township Sunday evening, where they located a vehicle belonging to one of the teens in a garage.

FOX 29’s Steve Keeley reports a car belonging to Mark Sturgis was found in a Peddler’s Village parking lot Monday morning.

Investigators are also looking to acquire cell phone records from the young men, while monitoring for credit and debit purchases.

Municipal police from Newtown, Middletown, Solebury, Buckingham and Plumstead Townships are involved in the investigation, along with county detectives, state police and the FBI, Weintraub said.

He urged anyone who has information about the men’s whereabouts at any time since their disappearance to call 215-297-8201, or to leave a tip on the District Attorney’s Crimewatch site at https://bucks.crimewatchpa.com/da
