Solano County, CALIF. — A helicopter crashed in Fairfield, California on Tuesday.
The ‘Bell 206’ aircraft went down around 1:30 p.m. near Lyon Road and Soda Springs Road. The chopper was contracted by Pacific Gas and Electric and reportedly struck a power line.
According to the FAA, three people were on-board. Officials say the helicopter caught fire before crashing.
It was unclear if there were any survivors. 38,000 people lost power following the apparent accident.
