Three children found the loaded handgun while playing this morning on a Clayton elementary school playground, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported.
Parents of students at R.M. Captain Elementary School on Northwood Avenue were notified later today of the incident in a letter emailed from Principal Jennifer Martin.
