Allegheny County, PA. — A father says he shot an 11-year-old son with a BB gun out of revenge.

The suspect, 31-year-old Albert Clark of McKeesport, approached the boy at a playground of the former George Washington Elementary School and fired twice, striking the boy in the chest.

The 11-year-old victim was flown to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is listed in critical condition.

The father says the boy shot his own 5-year-old son with a similar type of BB gun.

Clark faces charges including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Clark was held on $250,000 bail. Court documents don’t list an attorney who could comment on the charges, NBC Philadelphia reported.
