North Las Vegas, Nevada – A former charter school music teacher has been arrested in connection with a lewdness investigation stemming from 2012.

The investigation stemmed from incidents that occurred in October of 2012, and were later reported to police in June of 2014. Allegations were made that (now 49-year-old) William Crawford had inappropriate physical contact with two 12-year-old female students while he was employed as a music teacher at Somerset Academy (Centennial Parkway Campus).

Two weeks ago, detectives obtained a warrant for Crawford’s arrest. On February 08, 2016, Crawford was subsequently located and arrested. He was booked at the Las Vegas City Jail on two counts of lewdness with a minor under 14.
