TAMPA, FL.– An ongoing fight between two boys took a violent turn. “There’s no motive that justifies shooting at a school bus. It’s obviously a terrible situation,” says Jordan Meyer, AMIkids director of marketing and communications, who the bus belonged to.

Police say, the 15-year-old suspect thought he had settled a fight with a student by grabbing a handgun and shooting up that student’s school bus. The students attend a private alternative school, AMIkids.

The teen has been arrested before for carrying a concealed firearm.

Police say four children, ages 13-16 were on the bus at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.

The bus is owned by AMI Kids, a private, non-profit organization. Police are investigating.
