Emergency vehicles part of the motorcade protecting Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło currently in Jerusalem was involved in a serious crash on Monday evening.
The crash happened on Ben Tzvi Street in the Capital. One Polish security guard was reportedly injured in the incident.
Szydło and government officials are on a two-day visit to Israel to discuss business ties and hold intergovernmental consultations.
“PM Beata Szydlo and her ministers will go to Israel on Monday for intergovernmental consultations. This form of cooperation is an excellent opportunity to tighten cooperation between our countries and exchange experiences in many fields,” government spokesman Rafal Bochenek told Polish Press Agency (PAP) on Sunday.
