EAST POINT, GA — Katt Williams was arrested Wednesday night at the ‘Spondivits’ restaurant in Georgia.
It all went down around 10:00 p.m. after the comedian allegedly hit the owner of the restaurant with a salt shaker.
From TMZ: “Katt’s party walked into the restaurant and decided to seat themselves instead of waiting for a host. Katt soon followed and started arguing with the manager over the seating situation.
Katt allegedly settled matters by grabbing a salt shaker, chucking it at the manager and smashing him in the face.”
Williams initially fled responding officers and was later taken into custody.
Local reports say the employee was bleeding from his lip.

Katt was charged with battery and has since bonded out of jail.
