LISTEN: (Scroll Down)The 911 calls from last Thursdays shooting at the Grand 16 movie theater have been released by police, the 911 calls from the scene show that the dispatchers didn’t realize in the first couple of minutes just how bad the situation was.
Lafayette police have released the 911 calls from the shooting, at least 6 people in the theater called the police, some of the callers were out of breath.
Nine people were injured as a result of the shooting and three others died, including the shooter John Russel Houser. Police officers arrived at the theater in less than one minute.
