Last month NYPD police officers working in transit were patrolling the subway system in Manhattan during the evening rush hour. While inspecting the platform at the 125 Street and Lexington Avenue Station, officers observed a male with his hand in his pants performing lewd acts behind women as trains entered and departed the station.
The male then approached a woman waiting for the train and exposed himself to her, at which point the officers quickly moved towards him and placed him under arrest. Upon searching the perpetrator, he was found to be in possession of 116 glassine envelopes of heroin and a gravity knife.
The 51-year-old perpetrator was charged with:
-Criminal Possession of a Controlled
-Substance third and fourth degree
-Criminal Possession of a Weapon third degree
-Public Lewdness and Exposure of a Person
