NEWMAN, AUS.- Police didn’t arrest the man after he fired up his small plane & drove it to a local bar. Staff at the business call him a ‘Legend”. Cops say he’s a local character and they’d figure out the appropriate offense. It was in the afternoon, around the time school children were getting out of school.
“The danger is obviously taxiing a prop plane down Newman Drive, bearing in mind that kids have just come out of school,” Newman Sergeant Mark Garner told ABC. “It’s a busy Friday afternoon. I know it’s Newman but we do get a fair bit of traffic.”
