Anne Arundel County, Maryland — On July 31, 2015, Eastern District TNT/TPU Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at 9163 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena as a result of citizen complaints about possible drug-related activities occurring at the residence.
During a search of the residence, approximately 29 capsules of heroin (8.29 grams), 3.97 grams of powder heroin,196 pills of Oxycodone (various milligrams), 14 pills of Endocet, 68 pills of Alprazolam, 38 pills of Clonazepam, 8.78 grams of cocaine, 58.15 grams of marijuana and several other prescription medications were located and seized.
Three firearms were also recovered from the residence: a Ruger 22 caliber handgun, Ivers Johnson revolver and a pistol grip Remington 870 shotgun. In addition, $4,663 in U.S. currency was seized from the residence as illegal gains of selling and distributing drugs.
The quantities of the drugs recovered from the residence indicated the possession of the drugs with the intent to distribute. Drug paraphernalia to include a digital scale were recovered from the residence.
The following suspects were charged with drug and firearm-related charges as a result of the investigation:
Suspect #1: William Arthur Godwin, 46, of 9163 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, Md
Charges: CDS possession with intent to distribute (7 counts), CDS possession not marijuana (7 counts), CDS possession marijuana (1 count) and Possession of firearm in nexus to drug trafficking crime (2 counts)
Suspect #2: Daniel Richard Slater, 37, of 9163 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, Md
Charges: CDS possession not marijuana (3 counts)
