Metro Nashville Officer Decommissioned After Arrest

NASHVILLE, TENN. — (MNPD) — West Precinct Officer Mark Hatt has been decommissioned and assigned to desk duty as the result of his DUI arrest early today in Hendersonville.

A Sumner County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped Hatt for speeding on Center Point Road and subsequently determined that he showed clues of impairment. Hatt submitted to a blood alcohol test, the result of which is pending. He is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court in December.

Hatt, 40, is a seven-year MNPD veteran.
