Michael Brown’s Mother Accused Of Armed Robbery, Assault Over #Ferguson T-Shirts

Lesley McSpadden, Mother of Michael Brown may soon be facing felony armed robbery charges after an incident in Ferguson, MO. McSpadden, along with about 30 other people allegedly drove up to a group of Mike Brown T-shirt vendors and confronted them. At least one weapon, a metal pipe, was reportedly used. One person was hospitalized.

The incident occurred on October 18 in the parking lot of Red’s BBQ, just a few blocks from where Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Mike Brown.

According to the police report, “You can’t sell this s**t,” McSpadden allegedly said. The vendor refused to stop selling the merchandise unless McSpadden could prove she had a patent on her son’s name.

$400 in cash and more than $1,500 in Michael Brown merchandise was allegedly stolen.
Fox News reported that McSpadden asked the Ferguson Police Department not to release Mike Brown T-shirt incident report.
The incident is being investigated as an armed robbery.
