MIAMI-DADE, Florida — At least seven students at Paul Bell Middle School were being treated after ingesting an unknown substance Tuesday afternoon.

According to witness reports, the kids were acting “out of it.”

From WSVN: Miami-Dade County Public Schools Administrative Director John Schuster did not know what the exact substance was, but six of the seven patients have been transported to Kendall Regional Hospital. One of the patients was taken to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

One student said her friend was among those students who got sick. “I saw one right now, she was like, ‘I don’t feel good,'” said Allison Caballero.

The scene is at 11800 N.W. 2nd St., in West Miami-Dade. An investigation is ongoing.
