PHILADELPHIA — Northwest Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspects wanted for a robbery/home invasion in West Mount Airy.
On July 14, 2015, at 10:30 pm, The complainant, a 32 year-old male, was inside of his home on the 5xx block of Burnham Road when an unknown black male knocked on the front door.
When the complainant checked his surveillance video determining he did not know the male who was knocking on his door, he slightly opened his front door in an attempt to determine who it was.
When the complainant opened the door a second unknown black male approached the door armed with a shotgun. When the complainant quickly shut the door two additional offenders could be seen on surveillance cameras joining the two suspects.
All four suspects who were armed were attempting to gain entry into the home but were unable to gain entry. After a failed attempted at gaining entry to the complainant’s home, all suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident and nothing was taken.
