Delmy Villanueva, 26, of Yonkers, N.Y. was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, a felony, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors; and several traffic infractions. She was being held in the county jail on $10,000 bond.
It took place on Interstate 684 in Harrison, N.Y. The officer pulled over the vehicle Saturday around 2 a.m. when he noticed the car driving on rims & had hit the guardrail several times.
When placed in the cruiser Villanueva became violent, kicking the trooper in his eye.
