On Friday, August 28, 2015, the New York State Police at Latham conducted an investigation in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency- Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development- Office of Inspector General and the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service which concluded with the arrest of 58 year old Charles Heimerdinger of Edinburg, NY.

Mr. Heimerdinger was arrested on two counts of Making a Terroristic Threat, a class D felony.

These charges were the result of the multi-agency investigation in which Heimerdinger is alleged to have made threats to the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Housing and Urban Development offices in Albany, NY.

Police didn’t elaborate about the nature of the threats.

Subsequent to his arrest, Mr. Heimerdinger was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail pending further court action.
