“It’s great to really make a difference and arresting this suspect is another way the NYPD is keeping public housing in New York City safe.” said Police Officer Reale.

NYPD Housing cops arrested a man wanted for sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl in the Bronx. Police Officers Reale and Gallagher of Police Service Area 7 (PSA 7) responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress early last Saturday morning.

After arriving at the location the officers spoke with the victim and her mother who stated that the suspect, who is known to them, had left the residence.

Over the next two days the duo from PSA 7 investigated and went to the suspect’s home where they placed the 28-year-old man under arrest.

He was charged with sexual abuse.
