NYPD Narcotics officers in the Bronx arrested two teens and recovered three loaded firearms last Thursday afternoon. The officers were conducting an investigation within the 46 Precinct when they observed three teenage males walking in an alleyway adjacent to the rear of 2241 Creston Avenue. One of the males was observed pulling a .45 caliber firearm from his waistband and concealing it under a trash bag.

As the teens exited the alleyway they were met by the officers, the 17-year-old male who was observed with the firearm, and another 17-year-old male who were both apprehended without incident. The third individual, a 15-year-old boy, was apprehended following a brief foot pursuit, during which he was observed removing two firearms from his waistband and attempting to discard them.

The officers recovered three loaded firearms, a .45 caliber American Standard Firearm from under the trash bag, a .40 caliber Glock 23 and a 9mm Glock 19. The two teens from the Bronx who were in possession of the firearms were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
