NYPD: Woman Slashed In The Face, Robbed On Brooklyn Subway Platform

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 79 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Wednesday April 12, 2017, at approximately 5:45 p.m. aboard a northbound “A” train at the Nostrand Avenue station, the individual approached the 51 year-old female victim, struck her in the face with a sharp object and removed her cell phone. The individual fled the train and out of the station to the street area. The victim suffered a large laceration to the left side of her face and was removed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

The individual is described as a Male black, 25 to 30 years old, 5’11” to 6’0″, 250 to 300lbs, with a beard; last seen wearing a red hooded jacket and black jeans.
