MARYLAND — The Baltimore Police Department has named its new “Public Enemy No. 1.” … A Black Guerrilla Family gang member.

On April 4, 2015 police were called to the corner of North Pulaski and Vine Street for a shooting.

Once on the shooting scene officers observed the victim, 28 year-old Jamal Green lying on the ground.

Mr. Green was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was rushed to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment.

Despite medical efforts, Mr. Green succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 4:42 pm.

As a result of the investigation conducted by BPD homicide detectives, Derrick Jackson was identified as the murder suspect. Derrick Jackson is no stranger to law enforcement.

Police are asking for the communities help locating 23 year-old Derrick Jackson.
